HEATCON thermocouple wire connectors are round pin standard size, 2 pole TC connectors designed to connect TC wire or temperature sensor instrumentation with a temperature controller or process control HMI automation panel. They are compatible with any other similarly sized Male, 2 prong thermocouple plug or 2 pin Female thermocouple jack . The female TC jack is Universal and will accept either the mini or standard size male TC plug. Hollow pins of thermocouple compensating alloy are used. This TC connector is also available with a solid 2 pin design.

A thermowell is a pressure-tight receptacle that protects and extends the life of a temperature sensor in processing applications where the sensor is not mechanically or chemically compatible with the process environment. Installed directly into piping, vats or other parts of process systems, thermowells facilitate sensor replacement in high pressure pipelines and eliminate the need to interrupt the process flow or drain of the process system for sensor maintenance functions. The use of standardized thermowells permits simple relocation of sensors throughout a plant.
Strength versus accurate and fast temperature measurement is a balancing act. The factors which tend to produce high strength also tend to reduce the temperature sensor’s accuracy and speed of response. A properly selected thermowell will balance these opposing factors to produce a design capable of functioning satisfactorily in the intended application selection.

Fine Gauge Thermocouple Wire is a flexible, high temperature primary or secondary insulation made from closely braided, continuous filament fiberglass, which has been heat-cleaned to remove impurities in the yarn. Acrylic resin binders are applied for color coding and to further retard fraying and to hold sleeving round for cutting. This fiberglass insulation is unaffected indefinitely through a temperature range from -60 to 400°C.
Fine Gauge Thermocouple Wire fiberglass sleeving is used for thermal and mechanical protection in consumer, commercial and industrial applications where flexibility, abrasion resistance or insulation is required and particularly when temperature extremes prohibit the use of other materials.
